It’s easy to understand the temptation of pain medications.
You want to get rid of unbearable pain… the type that leaves you rolling around in hopes of relief that never comes.
But the overuse of opioids has caused a rash of deaths across the U.S. (not to mention liver damage, brain damage, and even simpler side effects like nausea and bloating).
If there’s a reason to take them, I haven’t found it. (I’ll get to a natural alternative that works just as well in a moment).
And recent research just found ANOTHER reason to ditch your pain meds…
In this study, opioids were put to the test against medical marijuana for pain relief in elderly patients. The results were STUNNING:
- 32 percent of patients were able to significantly reduce their pain medication; and
- 18 percent were able to GET OFF pain meds altogether.
So, is medical marijuana the answer?
See, when medical marijuana became legal in Massachusetts, I was one of the first people to get my card. I’d researched the benefits and couldn’t wait to try it myself to treat my Parkinson’s symptoms.
I was told I needed 5 mg of THC (the psychoactive component of marijuana) a day. So that’s where I started. But I found myself unable to be at my best mentally. And that’s no good for me… or you.
I dropped my THC use all the way down to 0.5 mg and still felt the psychoactive effects.
So, while medical marijuana has been shown to be well-tolerated by some, it was a bust for me. The success rate has been pretty low for my patients as well.
Which is why I turned to CBD (cannabidiol) oil instead…
CBD provides virtually the same pain-killing benefits as marijuana, but WITHOUT the “high.”
Here’s how it works…
You’ve got a system of receptors throughout your body known as the endocannabinoid system.
They’re present in everything, from your immune system to your stress response and mood.
CBD oil has been found to work directly with the endocannabinoid system to help relieve pain…
And it has quite the list of references; it’s backed by at least 79 studies.
CBD oil is available in just about every state. You can get it as an oil… tincture… capsule… edible. So you should be able to find something that works for YOU.
Unfortunately, there are still a few states that are holding out. If you’re in that situation, then I recommend the topical cream called T-Relief.
Rub this homeopathic remedy right on the site of your pain. You won’t have to wait to get relief—it works in seconds!
