It’s once again time to revisit mainstream medicine’s obsession with aspirin and its many “cures.”
Study after study debunks its effectiveness. And the potential nasty side effects are KNOWN.
Sure, the drug is cheap and accessible, but there’s simply NO REASON to keep pushing it on everyone – especially when there are other commonly available treatments that are even cheaper…
That actually work…
And that don’t put you at risk!
And NOW, mainstream is saying aspirin can reduce your risk of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) – the most common type of liver cancer.
Trust me, it’s not worth your time or a single dime. I’ll tell you what you need to do instead in a little bit.
But first, let’s take a peek at their “science” …
Does aspirin REALLY prevent liver cancer?
HCC is the second leading cause of death from cancer worldwide. It’s a serious disease that’s deserving of a serious look.
So researchers examined the numbers. They looked at the data from over 200,000 patients and across 14 years, and discovered nearly 9,000 patients who took daily aspirin for at least 9 months. Their numbers suggest low dose aspirin can reduce the risk of HCC by 41 percent compared with people who didn’t take aspirin.
Now, they admitted they couldn’t find a causal relationship… meaning it might not even be aspirin that’s responsible for the improved numbers.
But regardless, you have to take aspirin for AT LEAST 9 MONTHS to maybestave off HCC.
Now, if aspirin didn’t have scary side effects, it might be worth it…
But the drug DOES have side effects—nasty ones.
And the LONGER you’re on it, the HIGHER the CHANCE you’ll experience one or more of them.
Here are the “common” ones:
- gastrointestinal ulcerations,
- abdominal pain,
- upset stomach,
- gastritis, and
And here are the “extra bad” ones:
- Stomach pain that does not get better
- Bloody vomit or vomit that looks like coffee grounds
- Blood in stools or black stools
- Trouble passing urine or change in the amount of urine
- Ringing in the ears or loss of hearing
- Any symptoms of an allergic reaction including skin rash/hives, intense itching, swelling of the face or eyelids, wheezing, or trouble breathing
- Pain that does not go away in 10 days or gets worse
- Fever that lasts more than three days
- Severe dizziness or drowsiness
- Permanent kidney damage
In my opinion, it’s just not worth it.
ESPECIALLY not when there are natural options that work just as well…
Try this “weed” instead
Rather than subjecting yourself to ulcers, kidney damage, and a laundry list of other bad side effects from aspirin, turn to a weed instead…
I’m taking about milk thistle extract—a natural remedy that DOES have a causal relationship with a lower risk of HCC!
In a 2016 study on mice, it was found to shrink fatty deposits on the liver and destroy inflammation– two risks that leave you WIDE OPEN for liver cancer.
Not only that, it also PROTECTED the livers of mice from future damage!
And in the event that you do get liver cancer, milk thistle extract can help make chemotherapy MORE effective and reduce the side effects.
Now, you might see milk thistle extract on a supplement’s label. But what you’re really looking for in the ingredients is silymarin, the extract of milk thistle seeds. That’s where all the anti-cancer goodness lies.
