Can you believe it’s already December?
Besides the inevitable onslaught of snow here in Massachusetts, that means one thing: flu season is in full swing.
And according to the CDC, we can expect between 12,000 and 50,000 flu-related deaths from it this year—especially among seniors and children.
But folks, that doesn’t mean you should run out and get a flu shot…
Because they DON’T work nearly as well as Big Pharma claims—and they expose you to some NASTY side effects.
This year – instead of wearing down your immune system with the flu shot – try kicking flu to the curb with THIS super berry.
STOP the flu in its tracks
If you’ve been reading my Health e-Tips for a while, you’ll know one of my favorite ways to bulletproof your immune system against the flu is with elderberries.
While the flu vaccine can be a hit-and-miss affair –not to mention, it also carries dangerous side effects including high fever, allergic reactions, headaches and more – elderberries are both safe, AND reliable.
And this latest study proves once again how this berry is the REAL DEAL…
Researchers from the University of Sydney recently confirmed earlier studies proving elderberries can kick the flu virus to the curb.
They found the phytochemicals in elderberries actually BLOCK key proteins that the virus needs to spread. They also stop the flu from replicating within the cells.
So elderberries are effective in PREVENTING the flu from spreading, and REDUCING the length even when the virus is in its latest stages.
According to this latest study, it doesn’t matter when you take this berry because they are effective regardless!
So why waste your money on drugs like Tamiflu – that has been shown to only shorten the duration of the flu by one day – when going natural with elderberries can get you back to your normal self quickly.
Elderberries can be found at your local pharmacy or grocery store.
Look for elderberry juice or supplements. And make sure to take 600 to 900mg daily.
If you come down with the flu, I suggest upping that dosage; try taking one tablespoon of elderberry syrup four times a day.
I’d recommend picking up some now, even if you’re not sick… because you’ll benefit more from a strong immune system IF the flu does strike.
