Turns out, they DID.

Women who ate marine 3-PUFAS plus other types of n-3 PUFAs – especially, plant-based ALA – were found to dramatically decrease their chances of developing the disease.

Same goes for those whose diets were high in the individual omega-3 fatty acids EPA, DHA, DPA, and ALA.

And PUFAS were found to benefit overweight and obese women, who are more likely to develop breast cancer.
