So while depression is OVER-diagnosed — and OVER-treated — in everyone else, numerous studies find it’s RARELY diagnosed or treated in cancer patients

And that’s a REAL tragedy, as it can have devastating physical effects on the body.

In fact, research shows that depression and anxiety can cripple cancer treatment and recovery… and if mental distress isn’t recognized, it can PLUNGE cancer patients’ quality of life and survival.

Protect Your Mental Health

Friend, these are risks you should NOT have to face – especially when you’re already dealing with a challenging foe.

Speak to your doctor about any mental difficulties you may be experiencing, and whether you should be screened for anxiety and depression. After all, it can be critical in your fight against this disease.

But avoid antidepressants, which can make cancer WORSE and interfere with chemotherapy.

Fortunately, there are non-drug treatments that have worked wonders for many folks suffering from depression – even severe cases.

Integrative treatments, like massage and acupuncture, can significantly reduce depression and anxiety – and even relieve pain and help you sleep better.

Some folks get results from a form of psychotherapy called cognitive behavioral therapy.

You can also try calming supplements like curcumin, ashwagandha, theanine, and chamomile, which can all provide relief – without side effects.

But don’t try these treatments on your own, especially if you’re undergoing cancer treatment. Speak to your doctor, or consult a functional or integrative doctor, to come up with a plan that’s right for you.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement may be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through a class action, private attorney general proceeding, class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
