Morning Boost Shields Against Liver Disease?

When you have diabetes, you constantly worry about your blood sugar.

And you may also stress over the health of your eyes, feet, nerves, and more.

But I’m guessing there’s one part of your body you RARELY think about…

Even though your LIFE could depend on the state of its health.

I’m talking about your LIVER.

See, if you have diabetes, your risk soars for developing a severe form of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) – especially if you’re overweight or obese.

But new research has revealed a simple way to reduce the severity of this dangerous and sometimes fatal disease.

And there’s a good chance it’s something you may be waking up with each day.

Liver Protection By the Cup

Talk about mixed messages…

One day, a group in California claims that coffee is so toxic, it requires a warning label on every cup.

And the next day, a study reveals exciting new health benefits for this “dangerous” brew – like reducing the risk of heart attack, stroke, and early death.

Friend, I say, trust the science… in fact, if you LOVE a good cuppa Joe (or several), go refill your cup.

Because brand-new research found that coffee can reduce the severity of NAFLD for one of the highest risk groups – overweight folks with diabetes.

Now, NAFLD affects about a quarter of all Americans. It’s caused by a buildup of fat in the liver. And it’s often called a “silent killer” because it has NO symptoms and NO warning signs – at least, not at first.

But it can be especially dangerous for diabetics and/or folks who struggle with their weight.

That’s because they often develop nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) – a severe form of NAFLD that causes liver inflammation and damage

And worse, can lead to serious complications, including cirrhosis (scarring), liver cancer, and death.

But the study found that coffee can help turn things around.

The participants included overweight or obese diabetics who drank various amount of coffee each day.

Researchers measured their caffeine and non-caffeine metabolites, which are produced when the body breaks down the brew.

Turns out, those who drank the MOST coffee had LOWER fatty liver scores – in other words, LESS fat accumulation in their livers.

Plus, they had LESS liver scarring – a hallmark sign of NASH…

Well, that’s a key indicator that coffee had PLUNGED the severity of the disease.

Reducing Your Risk

Friend, if you’re a coffee lover, you’ll be very happy about the takeaway from this study…

Drink more coffee.

But that’s not the ONLY way to help safeguard your liver and steer clear of serious liver disease.

See, while many folks think that fatty liver disease is a result of drinking too much…

The key drivers of NAFLD are actually poor diet, obesity, and diabetes.

So to reduce YOUR risk, it’s critical to eliminate sugar and carbs, eat a healthy, whole foods diet, and get regular exercise.

As a bonus, you won’t just be helping to protect your liver… you’ll also be helping to keep your blood sugar, diabetes, and weight under control.

P.S. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease isn’t just a wrecking ball for your liver – it can also wreak havoc on your brain. Find out the critical details here.
