Widening the Net

Friend, if diabetes isn’t an epidemic… I don’t know what is.

More than 37 million Americans – about one in 10 – currently have it.

And another THIRD of the population – a whopping 96 million adults – have prediabetes, which could soon become the full-blown disease.

It’s a common belief that the only folks who get diabetes are those who are OLD and OVERWEIGHT.

But you can have a normal weight, and still have a spring in your step…

Heck, you don’t even have to have any typical symptoms…

And your blood sugar could STILL be out of control.

That’s why 20 percent of diabetics (and 80 percent of prediabetics) don’t know they have it.

But things could be changing…

Because in 2021, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force updated its previous guidelines.

They lowered the age recommendations for diabetes screening to 35 – but just for those who are overweight or obese.

The new study confirmed that decision, finding it has already identified more adults with prediabetes and diabetes than in the past.

Friend, this was a BIG step in the right direction – but it should go even FURTHER.

In fact, EVERYONE over 35 should have their blood sugar levels checked – no matter WHAT the scale says…

And no matter what their doctors say.

Hidden Dangers

If you haven’t been screened for diabetes, speak to your doctor about getting tested. You may need to insist.

See, even if you’re not overweight and have no symptoms, you blood sugar may still be in the danger zone.

And that means it can quietly be wreaking havoc throughout your body…

Damaging your heart, kidneys, blood vessels, nerves, eyes, and more… and spiking your risk of heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, and other diseases.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement may be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through a class action, private attorney general proceeding, class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
