Too Blind to See

You may think it can’t happen to YOU.

But more than three million Americans currently have glaucoma – and 2.7 million of them are over 40, with even more falling victim every day.

Glaucoma damages the optic nerve, but in its early stages, it often has NO symptoms, pain, or obvious loss of vision.

But as it progresses, it slowly shrinks your field of vision from the outside in.

At first, your eyes may compensate for the gradual vision loss, so you think everything’s A-OK.

But the damage adds up – and if left untreated, you could go blind.

Luckily, that’s NOT what happened to the 70-year-olds who participated in the study.

Eye exams revealed that some DID have glaucoma – but HALF of those newly-diagnosed patients had NO idea they were living with the disease.

In fact, the ONLY reason they even knew was because they participated in the study…

The good news is, once they found out, they began vision-saving treatment right away.

In the coming years, even MORE seniors will develop this vision-stealing disease, as the population continues to age.

So if you don’t have it NOW – at least, as far as you know…

But glaucoma doesn’t just steal your sight…

It can destroy your quality of life, making it difficult – or IMPOSSIBLE – to read, watch TV, drive, socialize, or see stairs, curbs, and other obstacles – especially, at night.

But that doesn’t have to happen to YOU.

Here are three simple tips that can prevent glaucoma – and help STOP or REVERSE the condition if you do get it.

First, get regular vision exams.

Maybe you think it’s a hassle. And sure, new glasses are expensive. Or perhaps you have perfect vision and don’t think it’s worth your time.

But it IS.

Because one key part of that exam — the painless puff of air they aim at your eyes — checks specifically for glaucoma.

Second, eat plenty of leafy greens. They’re packed with vision-protecting nitrate, which was found to cut glaucoma risk.

And third, if you DO have the condition, don’t give up.

If you catch it early, your eye doctor can prescribe drops to help reduce pressure in your eyes.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement may be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through a class action, private attorney general proceeding, class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.
