Since the last time we talked about the deadly coronavirus in Health e-Tips – just about a week ago — the number of total confirmed cases has SKYROCKETED…

And with it, the death toll continues to climb.

Experts have recently warned that in terms of the novel coronavirus, it’s NOT safe to assume all patients are having the uniform cough, sore throat, and fever symptoms.

In fact, thousands of folks could have the coronavirus RIGHT NOW, but not even know it because docs are IGNORING these “secret symptoms.”

Here’s what you need to know:

Two new reports in the New England Journal of Medicine uncovered new cases of coronavirus that presented with gastrointestinal symptoms – specifically nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea!

In the first confirmed case of the virus in the U.S., a 35-year-old patient presented with a two-day history of nausea and vomiting prior to hospital admission.

On the second day of hospitalization, the patient passed loose stools and reported abdominal discomfort. After one week, coronavirus RNA was detected in their stool.

Prior to diagnosis, the patient only presented with a dry cough – and NONE of the other “common” symptoms!

In the second NEJM case study, a 27-year-old patient reported GI symptoms prior to hospitalization.

And it’s not just coronavirus that features these often overlooked symptoms – illnesses such as SARS, influenza, and even Ebola can also have GI symptoms!

Despite these previous reports… mainstream docs are still MISSING this vital information!

So, it is up to YOU to keep an eye out for these symptoms.
