Daily Habit Makes Common Kidney Disease WORSE?! (scary!)

It’s true that MOST seniors have lost some degree of kidney function – and many have kidney disease…

And now, a new study found this common, daily habit can TRIGGER cyst formation and WORSEN PKD… paving the way to end-stage kidney disease.

Eating SUGAR.

Researchers found that sugar drives the formation and growth of cysts in the kidney.

The cyst walls continue to absorb sugar and fluid, causing them to SWELL. As the expand, they enlarge the kidneys, eventually ballooning them to up to FOUR times their normal size.

The result? Impaired kidney function, and eventually kidney FAILURE – requiring dialysis or kidney transplant.

PKD can also spike the risk of OTHER dangerous health conditions like brain aneurysms, heart valve abnormalities, and colon problems, including diverticulosis.

Protect Your Kidneys… and Your Health

PKD often flies under the radar – at least at first.

Many folks don’t know they have a genetic risk of the disease… and there are no routine tests to detect it at the earliest stages.

And while there IS a key early sign – high blood pressure – the disease is associated with multiple conditions… and typically doesn’t cause any symptoms ITSELF.

Later symptoms are harder to ignore, like chronic back or side pain, blood in the urine, or an unusual feeling of fullness in the belly.

So by the time PKD is detected, it’s often so advanced that you’ve got a rough road ahead.

And while more research is needed, this study points to a way to help smooth your future… and get ahead of this disease, even if you don’t know you have it yet…

By slashing your intake of sugar – or better yet, eliminating it entirely. (Same goes for carbs, which your body converts to sugar.)

That’s something you should be doing ANYWAY for a LOT of reasons…

After all, sugar is linked to a heightened risk of many life-shortening, chronic diseases – diabetes, heart disease, cancer, obesity, Alzheimer’s disease, and more.
