Diet, exercise, vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and other natural substances are all necessary for optimizing your health and treating illness, and those things are all the primary focus of Nutrition & Healing. Natural Response – The hidden curse of health insurance September 1, 2010
This e-letter was received last month from one of the few MD-specialists practicing in Washington State who is also knowledgeable about natural medicine. While politicians and “social activists” rant, rave, and moan about “lack of health insurance” as a major “health problem,” his letter eloquently describes the other side of the story, the all-too-real problems caused by relying on so-called “health insurance” as a pathway to good health. (His letter has been modified only to make it more understandable to non-physicians.) Read On

I read your book Why Stomach Acid is Good for You. This remarkable book of yours put an end to my suffering after 35 years. Thank you very much. Natural Response – A full clot-prevention program September 1, 2010
My wife recently underwent surgery to repair her mitral valve. The valve was not repairable and it was replaced with a mechanical valve. That was two weeks ago yesterday. The hospital put her on Coumadin to reduce blood clotting. We are still trying to get her Coumadin level right as indicated by INR tests. Coumadin inhibits vitamin action, but with long-term side effects. I am encouraged by Dr. Wright’s suggested alternative of using cod liver oil. Read On

Setting the strontium record straight August 1, 2010
When the first Nutrition & Healing articles concerning strontium and osteoporosis reversal were published (in February 2003 and March 2004), I received a somewhat irate letter, written by an American attorney representing the European patent medicine manufacturer of strontium ranelate. He pointed out that most of the studies were done with the ranelate form of strontium, and not with the other forms of strontium, so I had no justification in writing that these other forms would do the same thing. Three key herbs to promote male fertility August 1, 2010
We tend to see many articles and books about how natural treatments can help women to conceive and have healthy babies. However, the male side of the equation often receives less attention. The good news is that there is emerging clinical evidence that a number of herbs can help to improve fertility in men. Perhaps not surprisingly, the three discussed below are also all herbs that are regarded as male tonics. I have used all of these herbs in my practice (separately or combined) for male infertility and seen good results. Read On
